Tribute to Dani Russo
About
Our friend Dani was an artist, writer, and community leader in Final Fantasy XIV. She passed away unexpectedly on June 20th, 2022.Dani was the former leader of the Ashen Enclave FC and the founder of the Tangled Boughs FC. She organized many public events over the years, started Crystal datacenter’s first Duskcord, and was also a well-known moderator of the Balmung RP Network. She will be remembered as a fantastic artist, leader, organizer, and most importantly, a wonderful friend.There will never be words enough to express Dani’s impact, her kindness, or her legacy. She is beloved and deeply missed.An out-of-character, in-game memorial will be held on Crystal server 8/28/22, 6pm EDT, Balmung, Lavender Beds Ward 23, Amethyst Shallows. Purple glams and paissa minions are suggested.

Charitable Contributions
Dani was passionate about uplifting her community in Buffalo, NY, especially those affected by racism and inequity. She also loved her kitty companions fiercely. Per her mother’s suggestion - and her own chosen contributions through her Patreon - these charities have been selected if you would like to contribute to any causes in Dani’s name.
